About

My name is Rachelle.  I am a wife to the best, supportive husband a girl could ask for.  We have been married for 6 years and counting.  I am also a mother to two sweet little boys who keep me very busy.  I enjoy decorating, crafting, being around people, my family, the outdoors, sunshine, ice cream, slightly burnt popcorn, and crossing things off checklists.

I have a degree as a Radiologic Technologist where I love to put my creativity into helping others heal physically.  But my main job is staying home and raising my boys, I wouldn't trade it for the world.
I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  Religion is important to me.  I know there is a God who loves me and He sent His son to die for me and all of man-kind.  I have seen God's hand in many situations in my life.  I am truly blessed to have the knowledge I have.  If you want to know more about "Mormons" go to http://www.mormon.org/

I love to use my creativity inside the home as well.  Recently we built our first home.  We absolutely love it!  The only thing that is now lacking in my home is that personal flair and character that says it is ours. I am slowly but surely working on some diy projects in our home to give it a better representation of who we are.  I am excited to post all the projects I do! I love having projects to work on and love the satisfaction of being able to stand back and say "I did that".

Why the blog name?  Growing up, my friends nick named me Relish (or Reli for short)....really not sure why, but it stuck.  I wanted to incorporate my name or something sentimental in my blog title.  I also believe it's so important to live life in the now and to really enjoy those little moments especially when you have children because they grow up so quickly.  Often times we get caught up in the day-to-day responsibilities, it can be overwhelming.  But if we stop and just remember to appreciate even the small moments like enjoying a nice cold popsicle on a hot Summer day, watching your little boy chase bubbles across the yard, making cookies with your child and not even minding the mess, or hearing a song you like on the radio, then I think we can truly learn to love life.  This is something I'm always trying to remind myself of.

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you find something you love.
